Karmie Christian has been practicing yoga on a consistent basis since 1999. I began practicing asana as a means of stress-relief when I was working in the corporate world, I had no idea I was in for a transformation on so many levels. I have enjoyed practicing many styles of yoga, including Bikram (and other heated offerings), Iyengar, flow, power and yin as well as pre-natal during my pregnancy. Life has a way of “disrupting the applecart”, but I have found the practice has helped me become calm in the face of life’s challenges. I completed the 500-hour certification at Inner Vision Yoga and I am registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT500). As a teacher, I aim to provide instruction to help properly align the body in each asana in a fun and upbeat manner. One of my favorite quotes: “What you focus on, you become.
